Chaplaincy
Times of crisis often challenge the beliefs we hold about how life should be, and it can be helpful to share these challenges with another person. Spiritual Care is an integral part of care at Hospice North Shore, acknowledging the uniqueness and spiritual identity of each person and recognising that being human means having a spiritual dimension. Religion is one aspect of spirituality: other forms might include love of nature, music, family - anything that helps people make sense of their lives. Hospice does not impose any agenda, religion or belief system of death and dying.
Our chaplain provides spiritual and pastoral support to patients and their families/whānau in the In-patient unit and in the community. |
