Trees of Remembrance, 2011
What an amazing event. Hospice North Shore had 11 sites around the North Shore with Trees of Remembrance in the fortnight leading up to Christmas. The event has been running for 13 years and the level of support and commitment our community offers through this time, is overwhelming. Judy's Gift of Life
Watching a friend die from a terminal illness is something Judy Bailey has had the misfortune of facing several times. But while losing a loved one is painful, Judy says she felt a sense of peace knowing her close friends were in hospice care during their final days. The former TV One news anchor says several people close to her have been helped by hospice. read more
