A Night in Sri Lanka

20th September 2008
The Spencer on Byron Hotel, Takapuna and Dilmah presents: A Night in Sri Lanka

Experience the tastes of Sri Lanka as guest chef Rohan Samaratunga works his magic, preparing a buffet of Sri Lankan cuisine! Be entertained with a Sri Lanken cultural performance & live three piece band. All profit from the event will be donated to the North Shore Hospice. Sensational prizes to be won during the course of the evening, including a night for two at the Spencer on Buron Hotel.

Beatles Night

“I wanna hold your hand…”
3rd October

Takapuna Soccer & Scousers Football Clubs are bringing back "Abbey Road", New Zealand’s finest Beatles Tribute Band, for "A Beatles Night to Remember."

Join us for a fabulous night of entertainment, whilst also supporting North Shore Hospice and other local charities.

The date; Friday 3rd October at the Takapuna Soccer Clubrooms on Taharoto Road. Doors open at 6pm – with happy hour until 7.30pm – show starts at 7.45pm.

2008 Homes Tour - "Lakeside Living"

7th November
In association with mre Property. This year's Homes Tour will be showcasing some of the loveliest homes around Lake Pupuke. There will be gifts for Christmas, table setting ideas and entertainment galore. Mark this date in your calendar now as this is an event "not to be missed."

Christmas Trees of Remembrance

10th – 24th December
The North Shore community is familiar with the sight of the Hospice Trees of Remembrance dotted around the Shore in various shopping centres. People of all ages stop by the Remembrance Trees to remember loved ones who have passed away, by writing a message on the back of a cardboard candle which they attach to the tree and make a donation to the ongoing work of the North Shore Hospice.

Many hundreds of helpers generously give their time to sit beside the tree, making sure there is a good supply of candles available, keeping the tree tidy and chatting with those who make donations – Can you help us this year?

Trees of Remembrance will once again be located from the 10th to 24th December at Westfield Glenfield and Shore City, Woolworths Northcote, Pak n Save Albany, Outside the National Bank at Browns Bay, Devonport New World, Milford Mall, Foodtown Takapuna, Birkenhead Mall and this year we are delighted to include the new Westfield Albany Shopping Centre. Ezibuy at Albany will also generously collect at their store for Hospice at this time as well. The trees are a wonderful opportunity for the North Shore Community to support Hospice.

Charity Golf Tournament

12th February
One of the most anticipated days on the corporate charity golfing calendar at arguably the best golf course on the shore, North Shore Golf Club. An ideal way to entertain clients or reward staff.

Annual Fun Tennis Day

8th March
Do you enjoy tennis, food, wine and fun… not necessarily in that order? Onve again our generous court owners are opening their homes exclusively for this event. Bowling Tournament

27th March

We are now able to supply a Kleensak of ready-cut absorbent rags for cleaning your office, shop, business, garage or home at the great price of $25.
