Trees Of Remembrance Raised $45,000
In the weeks leading up to Christmas hundreds of people made the effort to
leave a message of remembrance on our trees around the North Shore.
All of the money donated by those who left messages, will go to helping provide care and support at such a difficult time for the people of the North Shore who have a terminal illness.
Hospice is so fortunate to have so many friends who are willing to sit for a few hours at the trees to make this such a successful fundraiser for Hospice. Beth Porteous, one of our wonderful tree volunteers said "I felt privileged to be there and help in this small way. I really enjoyed doing it."
We can only run this event because of our many volunteers and the very generous shops owners. Thank you all so much.
