A dream came true for Chris the Manager when Finally... Books opened at the end of 2009. Chris has long held the knowledge that books would be a terrific source of income for Hospice owing to their high turnover, their collectability and value. It is now being proven as the many customers who come from all over Auckland will agree. Come and visit, see for yourself the range of books from Military, Novels, Auto Biographies, Self help, Spirituality, History - almost every category you could wish for. Books range from 50c up to the more expensive rare or collectable publication. There is truly something for everyone - children to adult, students and everyone in between. Alongside the books is a growing amount of ephemera, stationery, stamps, coins and art - ever changing stock, so collectors visit often.
As the regulars already know, Chris loves "quirky". Her window displays are worth a visit on their own, but once inside you will be immersed in the warm and friendly atmosphere, the wonderful range of books to things "quirky", and the ability to sit on the well placed couch with the sun on your back and browse before you buy. The volunteers will make you very welcome.
